It looks very likely that Texas will soon pass this bill. Even one of the two votes against the bill in committee will likely vote for the bill when it gets to the Senate floor.
The panel approved Senate Bill 354 by state Sen. Jeff Wentworth (R-San Antonio) that would allow for the carrying of concealed firearms on college campuses, moving the controversial bill one step closer to Senate approval.
