Missouri is joining a long list of other states: Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming. There are three difference however with Missouri: 1) it is filing a friend of the court brief and not officially joining the lawsuit, 2) it is only asking that part of the law be struck down, and 3) the attorney general in Missouri bringing the case is a Democrat.
