INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, Fla. -- A homeowner shot and killed an intruder who apparently tried to rob a residence near Vero Beach on Thursday morning, authorities said.
Indian River County sheriff’s deputies are at the home near 47th Avenue and First Street.
Authorities said the homeowner pulled a gun on the intruder, fatally wounding him.
Police say "Homeowner Shot, Killed Intruder"
