West Virginia has 82,000 Permits

Eight other states [besides Pennsylvania] formally recognize West Virginia's estimated 82,000 concealed weapons permits, but West Virginia has yet to enter into an agreement with them to recognize their permits. The states are: Alaska, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Vermont.


This is about 5.72 percent of the state's adult population.
