Larry Elder has a very nice piece on defensive gun use that is well worth reading. My only comment deals with Jim Wilson's comments. Jim is right about the range of estimates, but it would be useful to provide some context for the lowest estimates because they are based upon a government done set of surveys that does not directly ask people about defensive uses.
